Boooo

Happy Halloween!

This year we decided to skip Halloween.  Okay, so not entirely skip it but we are not handing out candy nor trick or treating with the kids.  No pumpkin carving either, which will save me from shovelling up a smashed pumpkin like last year.  We are rather spending the night as a family, celebrating it by going to the movies and the kids will wear their costumes too.  It will be fun.

Yesterday they got to dress up as their favourite movie/book character or a hero.  It was so much fun and I think it was a great way for the school to keep from kids dressing gory, bloody and scary.

The kids enjoyed picking and creating their costumes as you will see from few pics below.  They were happy and that's all that matters.  :)

We found this costume under 5 bucks, necklace redone, wig less the 5 bucks.... beads added, free.  :)

Found these great leather moccasin type slippers at Giant Tiger and added some beads.

I told him to give me his most serious "Black Night" face! lol

I hope you all have a safe and happy Halloween night.
Love,
Janette
