Open doors to 2013

Goodbye last year and hello a new one.  It's actually quite refreshing to start a new year.  I love new beginnings.  2012 was very good to us, as we are humble people absorbing appreciation in everything life offers.  The simplicity in having mainly our good health and a solid roof over our heads, food on the table is more then plenty to be grateful for.  Our holiday festivities were simply amazing and to have the family over for our traditional meal was such a blessing and I loved having all of my family under the same roof.  

The future holds an open door to all possibilities, new adventures that will come this year filled with so many wonderful things to look forward to.  With last year's so many inquiries to photograph weddings, I've finally decided that this is the year I will branch out in this direction.

As the end of the last years' month peeled the layers to my creative painting area of life, I find myself drawn to doing more of this in the near future.  I also have a commission artwork to paint a large 4 foot x 6 foot canvas and I am very excited to paint this piece.  I find it fascinating that the power of "the secret" plays such a huge role in my life.... and as I learn daily by trial and error to grasp this way of living, I learn so much in the progress.

Few of my New Year's resolutions are to yell less, listen better, paint more, gamble less (all facets of life), drink less alcohol (lol), drink more water, create peace and zen in our home and get my body toned!  There...  I think considering all, it's very doable.

My photography has taken a new direction into areas that were not even tapped into less then a year ago.  With two companies already freelancing me to photograph their finished projects, I am very excited to continue this path with endless possibilities.  I truly open the doors to 2013 and welcome all it has to offer.
